This particular internship opportunity is related to key strategic planning and analysis initiatives including, but not limited to: 


Brand Identity

  • Assist in the development of our Brand Plan as part of our Business Plan.
  • Collaborate with the established FlyingTeeth team members and partners on the development of Brand Initiatives and drive the execution of new initiatives.
  • Work with the established FlyingTeeth team in ensuring brand standards are relevant and effective considering economic, environmental and cultural circumstances.
  • Collaborate with the established FlyingTeeth team on pitch presentations when required.


Competitive Intelligence

  • Develop a Competitive Intelligence report for Boutique Hospitality Development and Management services.
  • Develop and implement a feedback campaign.
  • Recommend an ongoing process to manage the competitive analysis activities.


Strategic Marketing

  • Improve investment solicitation process.
  • Review, streamline & update prospective customer profiles.
  • Populate, analyze and report key customer data.
  • Work to develop opportunities to build loyalty to the brand through brand marketing programs or specific one time events.



Business Plan Process

  • Help support Business Plan Development.
  • Improve the business planning process through implementation of new tools and more defined processes.
  • Work with the established FlyingTeeth team to improve transparency and uniformity amongst Business Plans.


ideal experience

The ideal candidate is someone who is interested in gaining extensive experience in a variety of strategic development and marketing roles within the boutique hospitality industry. This person should possess: 

  • Proven strong hotel operational background.
  • Someone who shows passion for the importance of brands in an organization or ideally who may have worked in a brand organization.
  • Wide range of marketing experiences ideally with non-traditional media:  new media, on-line, printed media, promotions, events, partnerships, public relations.  She/he must have a firm grasp of how these marketing disciplines interact to connect with the target audience and drive image and business results.
  • Strong team leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with implementation of change and innovative thinking should be a key skill of the successful candidate.
  • Strategy or marketing experience is an advantage.

This is an unpaid internship geared towards full-time or part-time undergraduate students. All candidates must be US citizens or US permanent residents.
